Suisei no Gargantia known as Gragantia on the Verdurous Planet in English is an Anime produced by Production I.G . A manga adaption began serialization on January 2013. In a distant future human beings live in space and formed the Galactic Alliance of Humankind. It is a soldiers duty to defeat the enemies, an alien species known as Hideauze. 16 year old soldier Ensign Ledo pilots an artificial-intelligent space suit/machine named Chamber. Chamber and Ledo end up in a mysterious Planet called Earth where there is no land and everyone lives on fleets.
This Anime kind of reminded me of Aldnoah.Zero and Knight of Sidonia except this Anime doesn’t have an intense or non-friendly vibe to it. This anime has an interesting story plot, beautiful animation and lovable characters.
What I love about Ledo’s character is how his character develops and changes while living on Earth. From being a determined soldier to a happy ordinary teenager learning to love life to the fullest. Amy is a bubbly lovable character who cares deeply for the people around her. Amy is the first person to confront Ledo and does it with a bright smile.
What I didn't enjoy about the Anime was the ending/ Unfortunately season 2 was canceled. I believe that if this series continued with a season 2 then this would be a popular TV series as it has a populated fan-base that people have made petitions for a season 2 to be aired but has not been successful so far.
