In Clannad After Story the story continues as Tomoya and Nagisa and start to date in their last year of high school. Due to Nagisa repeating Yr 12 again because of her illness Tomoya and Nagisa wait one year to get married. Tomoya and Nagisa end up facing multiple struggles as a newlywed couple.
This season was a heartbreaking slice of life that would make you shed a tear. The sadness and loneliness and the pain Tomoya suffered from was too hard to bare that he became a worthless bum. Loosing all the people you love and even your own family would be a scar you would have to live with for the rest of your life. This season will make you shed a tear. When I watched this season I would ask myself. Why? why did this happen to him ? Just how ? This season starts with a surprising term of events which may shock many people as it surprised me a great deal.
If you enjoy emotional, sad, slice of life, roller coasters then I would recommend to watch the second season.
Even though season 2 is a continuation of season 1 it’s like two different stories in a stage of someones life from being an adolescent to adulthood.
